History
Believed to have been originally a CiBiEmme / BMW Italia car run in the 1995 Campionato Italiano Superturismo, although this has yet to be confirmed.In 1997/8 the car was converted by Prototype Technology Group (PTG) to wide-body IMSA GT specification with a 6-cylinder engine. The car would make it's race debut in that format at the 1998 Daytona 24hrs and would continue in the United States Road Racing Championship for 1998 and 1999. Run by Genesis Racing in the 2000 and 2001 GrandAm series.
