The following year the car was sold to Paul Pickett, who raced it in the 1996 and 1997 Australian Super Touring Championship. Following a final outing in the 1998 Bathurst 1000 the car was sold to Nigel Stones.
In 1999 Stones raced the car at the three Australian Super Touring Championship meetings held at Oran Park, before the car was put into storage where it remained unused until brought by Bevan-Leigh Hussey in Nov 2009.
